- “Carm painted all the cabinets in our kitchen. They were white and Carm painted them a dark walnut shade. Was very skeptical at first but when this process was complete, was I surprised! we just installed granite on our countertops and the change to a darker shade on our cabinets was incredible. Would recommend Carm if you really want quality work.” ~

- Carmen came and he was nice, seemed thorough and the estimate seemed high. We are looking to sell the house and for a once over on our small house it ended up being close to $3000. He’s an excellent guy, I’d love to use the service but it seemed high.

- Cabinet Refinishing
- Carm Interiors painted and refinished my kitchen cabinets. Took old “80s like” golden oak cabinets, removed hardware, plugged holes and refinished to off white with glaze on top and black with clear coat on bottom. Added wood trim including crown molding on soffits & boxes on island and side of cabinets for custom look. Faux painted soffit to match cabinets for seamless look. Also refinished bathroom cabinet from same oak to cherry like wood grain finish. A tremendous renovation and updated look for a fraction of the price of a kitchen remodel and with just a week or two of minor inconvenience! Very pleased!!

- Description Of Work: Replaced kitchen cabinet doors and drawer fronts, painted same along with the original boxes, walls, ceiling and trim.
I had received an estimate from a major restoration company for updating my kitchen with new drawer fronts, cabinet doors and counters. The price was outrageous for my very small kitchen and since I’m not staying here I was not willing to spend that amount. I did use them for the counters, but Carmen gave me the option of replacing the doors/fronts and painting everything, at a substantially lower cost. He had a colleague that supplied the wood doors and fronts and Carmen added his talent to the rest. The result is a new kitchen that looks great for not a lot of money.

- Description Of Work: Carm Interiors provided a complete upgrade of my kitchen cabinets and walls at a reasonable price. Carm hooked me up with someone who made 13 new doors for the cabinets. Then he sent a carpenter, Joe Harris, who did some framing, boxed some empty space above the cabinets, and added the trim and crown molding, among other finishing touches. He also did much of the prep work — spackling, sanding, etc. Finally, Carm and his assistant, another Joe, came in to do the final work. They removed the old doors and prepared the old boxes for painting — filled in the holes, spackled, caulked, sanded, applied primer and paint to the boxes, and painted two window frames. They then installed the new doors that had been previously painted at Carm’s shop. I provided the stainless steel knobs. They came to the house three days running, and on the last day, They painted the walls, doors, and trim This was a last-minute add-on, as I was originally going to have my regular handyman do the painting of everything but the cabinets, but I asked them to do it because they had done such an excellent job with the rest of the work.
Overall, Carm and Joe, as well as the other guys involved in the makeover, were very professional and did meticulous work. I have gotten nothing but positive feedback from everyone who has seen the completed kitchen cabinets and walls, especially those who had seen the room before the work was done.
I would advise anyone who is thinking about buying new cabinets to consider having the doors replaced and some crown molding installed instead. As long as the original boxes are in decent shape, new doors, molding, and new trim and paint can make a huge difference. And Carm Interiors can do it better and faster for a much more reasonable price than Sears or the big-box stores.
